Orbital osteomyelitis
Orbital osteomyelitis is a rare orbital inflammation that can occur at any age, but children are more susceptible to this disease because their immune function is not yet perfect and they are susceptible to upper respiratory tract infections. The superior orbital wall is the most common site of disease, followed by the lateral orbital wall, while the inferior and medial orbital walls are rarely affected.
