Myocardial bridge
The coronary arteries and their branches usually run in the subepicardial fat on the surface of the heart or in the deep surface of the epicardium. When a section of the coronary artery is surrounded by the myocardium, this section of the myocardium is called a myocardial bridge, and this section of the coronary artery is called a mural coronary artery.
