Frosty dendritic retinal vasculitis
Frosted branch angiitis is a type of retinal perivascular inflammation, which is a rare type of uveitis. It is characterized by extensive retinal vascular sheaths, resembling branches covered with frost. It usually affects both eyes and may not be accompanied by systemic diseases. It may also be accompanied by acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, tumors, and some infectious diseases. In Japan, this disease is called tree ice retinal vasculitis. In English literature, some people call it acute frosted retinal periphlebitis.
