Acute cholecystitis in children
Acute cholecystitis is often related to overeating, eating greasy food, fatigue and mental factors. It often occurs suddenly, with colic in the right upper abdomen, which worsens in paroxysmal forms and radiates to the right shoulder or chest and back, accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Acute cholecystitis is relatively rare in children, and occasionally accompanied by cholelithiasis, which is even rarer in children.
