Dystonia
Dystonic syndrome, also known as dystonia, is a movement disorder characterized by abnormal muscle tension movements and postures caused by uncoordinated or excessive contraction of the agonist and antagonist muscles. It is involuntary and persistent. Although it is called dystonic syndrome, the changes in muscle tension are not noticeable, but the abnormal body posture and involuntary changes in movement are noticeable. Dystonia can affect the normal range of motion, range, speed and muscle hardness of the affected limbs.
