The chemical name of this product is 1-carbazole-4-oxy-3-[2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)ethylamino]-2-propanol. Its structural formula is: Molecular formula: C24H26N2O4. Molecular weight: 406.48.
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Carvedilol

Carvedilol has both (1) and non-selective (2) receptor blocking effects within the therapeutic dose range, and has no intrinsic sympathomimetic activity. This product blocks the (1) receptors on the postsynaptic membrane, thereby dilating blood vessels and reducing peripheral vascular resistance; it blocks the (2) receptors, inhibits the secretion of renin by the kidneys, blocks the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, and produces a hypotensive effect. Carvedilol lowers blood pressure rapidly and can maintain its hypotensive effect for a long time. It has no effect on left ventricular ejection fraction, cardiac function, renal function, renal blood perfusion, peripheral blood flow, plasma electrolytes and blood lipid levels, does not affect the heart rate or slightly slows it down, and rarely produces water and sodium retention.

Meloxicam

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic (NSAID) of the enolic acid class, which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It exerts its effects by inhibiting the biosynthesis of inflammatory mediators prostaglandins, and selectively inhibits COX-2 more strongly than COX-1, thereby reducing the incidence of gastrointestinal and renal side effects.

It has a bidirectional regulatory effect on the intestine, and can antagonize the tonic contraction of the intestine caused by acetylcholine and barium chloride, relax the intestine and relieve spasm; it can also antagonize the relaxation of the intestine caused by adrenaline, so that the intestine can resume spontaneous activity. It has no obvious effect on the spontaneous activity of the isolated small intestine of mice, but can enhance the spontaneous activity of the isolated small intestine of rabbits and dogs. It has no effect on the gastric bioelectricity of normal rabbits, that is, it does not affect the normal gastrointestinal motility function.
