Cyclosporine Soft Capsules
The main ingredient of this product is cyclosporine.
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Cyclosporin A

Cyclosporine (also known as cyclosporine A) is a cyclic polypeptide containing 11 amino acids and is a very powerful immunosuppressant. It can inhibit the occurrence of cell-mediated reactions, including allogeneic immunity, delayed skin hypersensitivity, experimental allergic encephalomyelitis, Freund's adjuvant arthritis, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and the production of T-cell-dependent antibodies. At the cellular level, cyclosporine inhibits the production and release of lymphokines including interleukin-2 [T cell growth factor (TCGF)]. It can block resting lymphocytes in the G0 or G1 phase of the cell cycle and inhibit the release of antigen-triggered lymphokines through activated T cells. All evidence shows that cyclosporine can act specifically and reversibly on lymphocytes without affecting the function of hematopoiesis and phagocytes. After using sandecanoic acid to prevent and treat rejection reactions and graft-versus-host disease, solid organ and bone marrow transplantation has been successful in humans. In addition, sandecanoic acid has a therapeutic effect on many diseases that are known or may be caused by autoimmunity.
