Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride Ointment

Chlortetracycline is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic that has a good inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Pneumococcus, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Chlamydia trachomatis. It is suitable for superficial skin infections.

The main ingredient is chlortetracycline hydrochloride, whose chemical name is 6-methyl-4-(dimethylamino)-3,6,10,12,12alpha;,-pentahydroxy-1,11-dioxo-7-chloro-1,4,4alpha;,5,5alpha;,6,11,12alpha;-octahydro-2-naphthacenecarboxamide hydrochloride

This product is a yellow ointment.

Used for purulent skin diseases such as impetigo, mild small-area burns and infections of ulcer surfaces.

For topical use: Take an appropriate amount of this product and apply it to the affected area 2-3 times a day.

Allergic reactions such as skin redness, swelling, and rash may occasionally occur.

Patients with a history of allergy to tetracyclines are contraindicated.
