Bromomannitol Capsules
Function and Efficacy
It is a carbohydrate alkylating agent, which is completely absorbed orally. After releasing hydrobromic acid in the body, it forms dioxirane compounds and has an obvious effect. It has the effect of inhibiting the division of cancer cells.
Ingredients
The chemical name of this product is: 1,6-dibromo-1,6-dideoxy-D-mannitol.

Indication
It has a good effect on chronic myeloid leukemia.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: 0.2-0.3 g each time, once a day, for 3-6 weeks as a course of treatment, maintenance dose, 0.25 g per week or 0.125-0.25 g per day initially. When the white blood cell count drops to 20×109/L, change to 0.125-0.25 g orally every 2-3 days for 12 consecutive weeks.
Adverse Reactions
The main symptoms are bone marrow suppression, leukocytopenia and thrombocytopenia, mild gastrointestinal reactions, and sometimes mild hair loss and skin pigmentation. It has a strong accumulation effect.
Precautions
Pregnant and lactating women: Do not use this medicine.
