1. The mechanism of action of polyphenol sulfonaldehyde is to kill bacteria, fungi and trichomonas through strong acid and protein coagulation. It selectively causes necrotic or diseased tissue and columnar epithelial protein denaturation. It causes vasoconstriction and plasma protein coagulation to stop bleeding. 2. Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde has a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, including common Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and certain viruses, among which Gardnerella Vaginatis, anaerobic bacteria Trichomonas and Candida are particularly sensitive to it. However, Doderlein Vaginalflore (vaginal lactobacillus flora) is basically unaffected. There is no report of this drug causing drug resistance. 3. Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde has a selective coagulation effect on necrotic or diseased tissue, which can promote tissue regeneration and re-epithelial coverage.

Used to treat cervical erosion, cervicitis, various vaginal infections (such as increased leucorrhea caused by bacteria, trichomonas and fungi), vulvar itching, and pressure ulcers caused by the use of pessaries.

Insert one suppository into the vagina every two days. If polycresol sulfonaldehyde concentrate is used to cauterize the lesion, insert one suppository every two days. For ease of use, the patient is best to lie on his back, soak the suppository with water, and then insert it deep into the vagina. It is usually best to take the medicine before going to bed at night, and use a sanitary belt to prevent contamination of clothing and bedding.

Occasionally, local irritation symptoms (such as burning or pain) may occur after medication, which are usually tolerable and disappear quickly.

During pregnancy, especially in the last three months, any treatment of the cervix should not be used, and treatment of the vagina and surrounding areas should only be used when absolutely necessary.

Precautions for children: follow the doctor's advice. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, any intracervical treatment should be avoided. Polycresol sulfonate is no exception. At this time, the potential harm of the drug to mother and baby should be fully considered. Although animal tests have shown that this drug has no teratogenic effect, the results of human trials have not yet been obtained. It is not clear whether the active ingredients of this drug will be contained in the breast milk of lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: follow the doctor's advice.

Polyphenol sulfonaldehyde can only be applied topically. Since interactions with other drugs cannot be ruled out, avoid using more than two drugs at the same time in the same area.
