This product is a second-generation oral sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drug. It is a highly active pancreatic beta cell agent that binds to specific receptors on the pancreatic beta cell membrane and can induce the production of appropriate amounts of insulin to lower blood sugar concentration.

Indication
Type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes).
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration should be taken half an hour before meals. The general daily dose is 15-120 mg (0.5 tablets to 4 tablets). The dose can be adjusted appropriately according to individual conditions and doctor's advice. Usually, the daily dose is within 30 mg (1 tablet) and can be taken once before breakfast. A larger dose should be taken three times before meals. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 180 mg (6 tablets).
Adverse Reactions
There are reports of skin allergic reactions, gastrointestinal reactions, mild hypoglycemia and changes in the blood system in a very small number of people.
Precautions
1. Type 1 diabetes (i.e. insulin-dependent diabetes). 2. Diabetic coma or pre-coma. 3. Diabetes combined with acidosis or ketosis. 4. Allergic to sulfonamides. 5. Pregnant, lactating and late-stage uremia patients.
Special Population Medication

Drug Interactions
1. The effect of this product can be enhanced when used in combination with salicylates, sulfonamides, phenylbutazone, anti-tuberculosis drugs, tetracyclines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, beta-receptor blockers, chloramphenicol, dicoumarols and cyclophosphamide. 2. Chlorpromazine, sympathomimetic drugs, corticosteroids, thyroid hormones, oral contraceptives and nicotinic acid preparations can reduce the hypoglycemic effect of this product. This product can reduce the patient's tolerance to alcohol, and alcohol may also enhance the hypoglycemic effect of the drug.
