Function and Efficacy

The activity of phenylalanine hydroxylase in infants is low, which can easily lead to hyperphenylalaninemia. Because of the low activity of cystathionase, hypermethioninemia is easy to occur. The synthesis rate of histidine is slow, which can easily lead to hypohistidinemia. Therefore, the dosage of phenylalanine, methionine, and glycine should be reduced for amino acid infusion for infants and young children, and the dosage of cysteine, tyrosine, and histidine should be increased, so that the plasma amino acid spectrum can remain normal. This product adapts to the metabolic characteristics of infants and young children, reduces the dosage of phenylalanine, methionine, and glycine, increases the dosage of cysteine and histidine, and meets the nutritional needs of children.

Ingredients

It is composed of 18 kinds of amino acids, and the amino acid content is 6.74% (calculated as salt). L-isoleucine, L-alanine, L-leucine, L-proline, L-lysine, L-arginine (L-lysine acetate), L-serine, L-methionine, L-aspartic acid, L-phenylalanine, L-glutamic acid, L-threonine, glycine, L-tryptophan, L-tyrosine, L-valine, etc. Absorption, distribution, elimination: On the one hand, the tissue protein of the human body is decomposed into amino acids, and on the other hand, it is synthesized from amino acids. It is a continuous decomposition and synthesis to maintain a dynamic balance. The amino acid conversion is very rapid and frequent. The twenty kinds of amino acids that make up protein have common groups-amino and carboxyl groups, so they have similar metabolic processes. They all need to deaminate to generate ammonia and alpha-keto acid. Ammonia and carbon dioxide generate urea, which is excreted through the kidneys. Indication

Children with digestive system diseases, hypoproteinemia caused by various diseases, severe trauma, burns, sepsis and other nitrogen imbalances in the body, refractory diarrhea, malabsorption syndrome, parenteral nutrition for premature infants and low birth weight infants.

Usage and Dosage

1 When used for a long time through the central vein, it should be used in combination with hypertonic glucose (or glucose and fat emulsion), electrolytes, vitamins, trace elements, etc., in order to achieve the purpose of nutritional support. 2 When used through the peripheral vein, it can be diluted with 10% glucose injection and slowly dripped. 3 Infusion rate: When the peripheral vein is fully infused, the full-day dosage should be not less than 16 hours after the liquid is diluted, and dripped evenly. For partial intravenous nutrition infusion and central vein infusion, follow the doctor's advice. 4 The infusion volume should be determined according to the child's age, weight, condition, etc. The general dosage is 15ml/kg/day of amino acids at the beginning (equivalent to about 1g of amino acids), and then increased to 39ml/kg/day (equivalent to 2.5g of amino acids). At the end of the treatment, attention should be paid to gradually reducing the dosage to prevent hypoglycemia.

Adverse Reactions

When this product is infused quickly, it is easy to cause increased heart rate, gastrointestinal reactions and fever.
