Appearance
This product is white or off-white tablets.
Indication
Used for candidal vulvovaginal disease.
Usage and Dosage
Vaginal administration. Take 1 tablet before bedtime, 1 tablet is one course of treatment. Place the tablet deep into the vagina with or without a medication dispenser. Generally, 1 dose is sufficient, and a second treatment can be performed 4 days later if necessary.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation such as itching or burning may occur occasionally.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to clotrimazole.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Girls under 18 years of age should avoid using it as much as possible, and should use it under the guidance of a doctor when necessary. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: 1. This product was given vaginally in the last 3 months of pregnancy, and no adverse effects on the fetus were found. However, in studies on mice and rats, oral administration of clotrimazole at 50-120 mg/kg body weight showed embryotoxicity, so pregnant women should avoid using it as much as possible, and should use it under the guidance of a physician when necessary. 2. This product is slightly absorbed when used, but there is a lack of experimental data on whether it is secreted into breast milk, so lactating women should use it with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients may have vaginal dryness that affects the efficacy of this product.
Drug Interactions
1. This product should not be used with other antifungal drugs, such as nystatin. 2. The excipients of this product can damage latex products, so it is not suitable to use condoms or vaginal diaphragms. 3. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
