Five vitamin oral solution

Function and Efficacy

1. Vitamin B1 forms thiamine pyrophosphate in the body, which is a necessary coenzyme for carbohydrate metabolism and can maintain the normal functions of the heart, nerves and digestive system. Vitamin B1 can inhibit the activity of cholinesterase. When it is deficient, the activity of cholinesterase is enhanced, the hydrolysis of acetylcholine is accelerated, and the nerve impulse conduction disorder is caused, affecting the gastrointestinal and myocardial functions. Vitamin B2 is an important coenzyme for tissue respiration, and can activate vitamin B6 to convert tryptophan into nicotinic acid, and may be related to maintaining the integrity of red blood cells. Vitamin B6 is converted into pyridoxal phosphate in red blood cells, and acts as a coenzyme for various metabolic functions of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. Vitamin 6 also participates in the conversion of tryptophan into nicotinic acid or 5-hydroxytryptamine. 2. Nicotinamide forms nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (coenzyme I) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (coenzyme II) with nucleic acids, phosphoric acid and adenine in the body, which is necessary for lipid metabolism, oxidation of tissue respiration and glycogenolysis. When it is deficient, it causes pellagra.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women taking large amounts of vitamin B6 may cause vitamin B6 dependence syndrome in newborns. Normal intake of vitamin B6 by nursing mothers has no adverse effects on infants. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

Drug Interactions

1. Drinking alcohol (ethanol) affects the absorption of vitamin B2 in the gastrointestinal tract. 2. Vitamin B2 is more completely absorbed orally after meals and should not be taken with metoclopramide. 3. Chloramphenicol, cycloserine, ethionamide, hydralazine hydrochloride, immunosuppressants including adrenocortical hormones, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine, isoniazid, penicillamine and other drugs can antagonize vitamin B6 or increase the excretion of vitamin B6 through the kidneys, which can cause anemia or peripheral neuritis. 4. The combination of levodopa and a small dose of vitamin B6 (5 mg per day) can antagonize the anti-tremor effect of levodopa. But it has no effect on carbidopa. 5. When taking isonicotinoyl for a long time, this product should be appropriately supplemented.
