Indication
Used to treat stomatitis, dermatitis, encephalitis and cytomegalovirus infection caused by herpes virus infection.
Adverse Reactions
Pain at the injection site may be seen. In rare cases, neuromuscular pain and joint pain may occur, and thrombocytopenia or bone marrow giant cell hyperplasia may occur occasionally, which can recover on their own after discontinuation of the drug. It is reversible and can be treated symptomatically if necessary. The degree of adverse reactions is positively correlated with the dosage and course of treatment.
