Sophora flavescens tablets
Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological studies have confirmed that Sophora flavescens mainly contains matrine, which has anti-pathogenic microorganism, anti-arrhythmic, leukocyte-raising and anti-tumor effects. Matrine has inhibitory effects on Shigella dysenteriae, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus B, skin fungi and Trichomonas. Sophora flavescens can slow down the heart rate, prolong conduction, and reduce myocardial excitability. Matrine has a significant therapeutic effect on leukopenia.
