Function and Efficacy
Different concentrations have different pharmacological effects. 1~3% concentration has a keratinizing effect, which can restore the skin's stratum corneum to normal and has an antipruritic effect; 5~10% has a keratinizing effect, which reduces the adhesion between cells in the stratum corneum by dissolving intercellular adhesives, or increases hydration and softening by lowering the pH value of the stratum corneum, leading to keratin loosening and desquamation. 0.3% salicylic acid has an antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and pathogenic yeasts. The antifungal effect of salicylic acid is produced by inhibiting fungal growth and removing the stratum corneum. In addition, the concentration of 0.1% also has a photoprotective effect. This product can also help the penetration of other drugs.
Ingredients
Each vial of this product contains 0.08g of salicylic acid. Excipients: yellow vaseline.

Appearance
This product is a yellow ointment.
Indication
Used for tinea capitis, tinea pedis and local keratin hyperplasia.
Usage and Dosage
For topical use, apply appropriate amount to the affected area, twice a day.
Adverse Reactions
There may be irritation or contact dermatitis. After absorption over a large area, symptoms of salicylic acid systemic poisoning may occur, such as dizziness, confusion, mental disorder, shortness of breath, persistent tinnitus, severe or persistent headache, and tingling.
