Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological action: In vitro antibacterial tests have confirmed that Scutellaria baicalensis has a strong inhibitory effect on typhoid fever, dysentery, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bordetella pertussis, Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, influenza virus, and skin fungi. Gardenia jasminoides has an inhibitory effect on hemolytic Streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, and meningococci, and can kill Leptospira in vitro. Artemisia capillaris decoction has a strong inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, dysentery, typhoid fever, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Artemisia capillaris decoction has a strong antipyretic effect on experimental fever in rabbits. Honeysuckle has a strong antibacterial effect on typhoid fever, Bordetella pertussis, hemolytic Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, etc. Because this product also has a dehumidifying effect, it can enhance the excretion of bacterial toxins and has an antiviral effect. The experiment used carbon tetrachloride to induce acute liver injury in rats, and observed the preventive and therapeutic effects of Yinchenhao Decoction and its components (Yinchenhao, Gardenia, and Rhubarb) on liver injury. The experimental results showed that the swelling, ballooning, fatty changes, and necrosis of liver cells in animals treated with drugs were alleviated to varying degrees. The content of glycogen and ribonucleic acid accumulated in liver cells increased or approached normal, and the activity of serum alanine aminotransferase decreased significantly.

Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip: 10-20 ml at a time, diluted with 250-500 ml of 10% glucose injection solution and then dripped; after the symptoms are relieved, intramuscular injection can be used instead. 2-4 ml per day.
