This product is an immunomodulatory drug. It has the function of regulating and enhancing the cellular immune function of the human body and can promote the maturation of T lymphocytes. It can promote the maturation of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood after mitogen activation, increase the secretion of various lymphokines (such as α, γ interferon, interleukin 2 and interleukin 3) after T cells are activated by various antigens or mitogens, and increase the level of lymphokine receptors on T cells. It also enhances lymphocyte response by activating T4 helper cells. In addition, this product may affect the chemotaxis of NK precursor cells, which become more cytotoxic after exposure to interferon. In addition, this product can enhance the body's ability to resist radiation. Therefore, this product has the function of regulating and enhancing the cellular immune function of the human body.

The main ingredient of this product is thymosin, a biologically active polypeptide extracted from the thymus of healthy calves.

This product is an enteric-coated tablet, which is off-white or light yellow to yellowish brown in color after removing the coating.

It is not yet known whether this drug is harmful to the embryo or whether it affects fertility. Therefore, this drug can only be used in pregnant women when it is absolutely necessary. Although it has not been confirmed that this product is excreted through human milk, it should still be used with caution in lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
