Fosfomycin calcium capsules

This product has a certain antibacterial effect on most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The antibacterial spectrum of this product includes Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Shigella, Serratia, Shigella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Enterobacter aerogenes. This product inhibits the early synthesis of bacterial cell walls, thereby blocking the synthesis of bacterial cell walls and causing their death.

The main ingredient of this product and its chemical name are: ()-(1R, 2S)-1,2-epoxypropyl phosphate calcium salt monohydrate.

This product is in the form of capsules.

It is used for simple lower urinary tract infection and intestinal infection (including bacillary dysentery) caused by sensitive bacteria, etc. It can also be used in combination with other antibacterial drugs to treat severe infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as septicemia, peritonitis, osteomyelitis, etc.

Take orally 0.5-1.0g (calculated as C3H7O4) once, 4 times a day.

Mainly mild gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea, decreased appetite, upper abdominal discomfort, loose stools or mild diarrhea, etc., generally do not affect continued medication. Occasionally, rash, eosinophilia, and elevated alanine aminotransferase may occur.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product.

Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

1. When used in combination with beta-lactams, it has a synergistic effect against Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. 2. When used in combination with aminoglycosides, it has a synergistic effect. 3. There is no cross-resistance with other antibiotics.
