Alendronate Sodium Tablets

Alendronate sodium is an aminobisphosphonate bone resorption inhibitor with a strong affinity for hydroxyapatite in bone. This product exerts its anti-bone resorption effect by inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts. It is characterized by strong anti-bone resorption activity and no bone mineralization inhibition effect.

The main ingredients of this product are: Alendronate sodium Chemical name: (4-amino-1-hydroxybutylene) diphosphonic acid monosodium salt trihydrate.

This product is white or off-white tablets.

Indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women to prevent hip and spine fractures (vertebral compression fractures) Indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in men to increase bone mass.

Take 1 tablet of 70 mg once a week or 1 tablet of 10 mg once a day.

In clinical studies, this product is generally well tolerated. In some studies lasting up to 5 years, adverse reactions are usually mild and generally do not require discontinuation of treatment.
