Naloxone Hydrochloride Injection

Opioid receptor specific antagonist, small dose (0.4-0.8 mg) intramuscular or intravenous injection can quickly reverse the effect of morphine, intravenous injection for 1-3 minutes can eliminate respiratory depression and increase respiratory rate. It has a wake-up effect on animals with acute alcohol poisoning.

The main ingredient of this product is sodium chloranol.

This product is the most widely used opioid receptor antagonist in clinical practice. It is mainly used for: 1. Rescue acute poisoning by narcotic analgesics, antagonize the respiratory depression of this type of drug, and awaken the patient. 2. Antagonize the residual effects of narcotic analgesics. Newborns are affected by narcotic analgesics in their mothers and suffer respiratory depression, which can be antagonized by this product. 3. Rescue acute ethanol poisoning: intravenous injection of naloxone 0.4-0.6mg can awaken the patient. 4. For those suspected of being addicted to narcotic analgesics, intravenous injection of 0.2-0.4mg can stimulate withdrawal symptoms and has diagnostic value. 5. Awakening effect, which may activate the physiological awakening system through cholinergic effects to awaken the patient, and is used for general anesthesia awakening and anti-shock and some comatose patients.

Intramuscular or intravenous injection. The usual dose for adults is 0.4-0.8 mg once, and children can reduce the dose accordingly. Repeated doses can be given according to the condition. Severe alcohol poisoning: 0.8-1.2 mg, and repeated doses of 0.4-0.8 mg can be given after one hour.

There are almost no adverse reactions, but when used for combined anesthesia awakening, a few patients may experience mild agitation, which may be caused by antagonizing the analgesic effect of analgesics.
