It inhibits the activity of smooth muscles and glands innervated by postganglionic cholinergic nerves, and can stimulate or inhibit the central nervous system depending on the dosage of this product. The detoxification system antagonizes the effects of cholinesterase inhibitors at the M cholinergic receptor site, such as increasing the secretion of mucous glands and salivary glands in the trachea and bronchial system, contracture of bronchial smooth muscles, and hyperactivity of autonomic ganglia after stimulation. In addition, atropine can excite or inhibit the central nervous system, with a certain dose dependence. The effect on the heart, intestines and bronchial smooth muscles is stronger and more lasting than other belladonna alkaloids.

This product is white tablets.

1. Used for various visceral colic, such as gastrointestinal colic and bladder irritation symptoms. The effect on biliary colic and renal colic is poor; 2. Slow-type cardiac arrhythmias such as sinoatrial block and atrioventricular block caused by excessive vagal nerve excitement, and can also be used for ventricular ectopic nodes secondary to sinoatrial node dysfunction; 3. Rescue of organophosphate poisoning.

Oral administration: 0.3~0.6mg, 3 times/d, maximum dose 1mg each time, 3mg/d; subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous injection: 0.5~1mg each time, maximum dose 2mg each time.

The adverse reactions caused by different doses are as follows: 0.5mg, slight heart rate slowing, slightly dry mouth and less sweating; 1mg, dry mouth, accelerated heart rate, slightly dilated pupils; 2mg, palpitations, significant dry mouth, dilated pupils, and sometimes blurred vision; 5mg, the above symptoms are aggravated, and there are slurred speech, irritability, dry skin and fever, urination difficulties, and reduced intestinal peristalsis; above 10mg, the above symptoms are more severe, the pulse is heavier, the pulse is fast and weak, the central excitement phenomenon is serious, the breathing is accelerated and deepened, and delirium, hallucinations, convulsions, etc. may occur; in severe poisoning, the central excitement may turn into inhibition, resulting in coma and respiratory paralysis. The minimum lethal dose*** is about 80~130mg, and 10mg for children. Use with caution in patients with fever, rapid pulse, diarrhea and the elderly.

Use with caution in patients with reflux esophagitis, weakened motility of the esophagus and stomach, and relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter; 4. Contraindicated in patients with urinary tract infection (decreased bladder tone) caused by prostatic hypertrophy and urinary tract obstructive diseases.

Precautions for children: Not clear yet. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: The safety of this product for pregnant women is not clear yet. Pregnant women need to consider the pros and cons of the drug. This product can be secreted into breast milk and has the effect of inhibiting lactation. It should be used with caution in lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients, especially those over 60 years old, should use this product with caution.

1. When used in combination with urine alkalinizing drugs including antacids containing magnesium or calcium, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, sodium bicarbonate, citrate, etc., atropine excretion is delayed, and the duration of action and (or) toxicity are increased. 2. When used in combination with adamantane, phenothiazines, other anticholinergics, primidone, procainamide, and tricyclic antidepressants, the toxic and side effects of atropine may be aggravated. 3. When used in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (including furazolidone, procarbazine, etc.), the side effects of anti-M cholinergic effects may be enhanced. 4. When used in combination with metoclopramide, the latter's effect of promoting gastrointestinal motility may be antagonized.
