Rocuronium Bromide Injection
Indication
Rocuronium bromide is an adjuvant drug for general anesthesia, used for endotracheal intubation during routine induction of anesthesia and maintenance of intraoperative muscle relaxation.
Usage and Dosage
This product is administered intravenously, and the starting dose for endotracheal intubation is 0.6 mg/kg. The neuromuscular blockade time for intubation is 0.4 to 6 minutes, with an average of 1 minute. At a dose of 0.6 to 1.2 mg/kg, excellent or good conditions for intubation will be provided within 2 minutes. The clinical maintenance dose of this product is 0.1 mg/kg, 0.15 mg/kg and 0.2 mg/kg. From the intubation dose, the patient can start to use a drip dose of 0.01 to 0.012 mg/(kg.min) after spontaneous breathing is restored. The administration of this product should be individualized. In clinical trials, the drip rate range is 0.004 to 0.016 mg/(kg.min). The dosage for each patient should take into account the duration of the operation, the interaction with other drugs, and the patient's condition, and appropriate neuromuscular monitoring should be performed. Adults can use a dose of 0.6 mg/kg regardless of the length of the operation. If it is a continuous infusion, first give 0.6 mg/kg, then give at a rate of 0.3-0.6 mg (kg.h) to maintain neuromuscular blocking effect, but the blockade must be monitored. Children are as sensitive as adults under halothane anesthesia, but the onset of action is faster. The sensitivity of the elderly to this product is similar to that of adults, but the duration of action is longer.
Adverse Reactions
This product has no significant effect on the cardiovascular system, nor does it release histamine in the body. No obvious accumulation effect has been observed after repeated administration. Therefore, this product is a safe, effective, and fast-acting neuromuscular blocking drug. Since this product has no reported effects on fertility, pregnant women cannot use it for the time being.
