Dioxetine Hydrochloride Tablets

This product has a strong antitussive effect. It also has antihistamine, smooth muscle spasm relief, anti-inflammatory and local anesthetic effects. The antitussive effect usually appears 30-60 minutes after taking the medicine, and the effect lasts for 4-6 hours or longer.

The main ingredient of this product is dioxadiazine hydrochloride, and its chemical name is: 10-(2-dimethylamino-isopropylazine) phenothiazine-5,5-dioxide hydrochloride.

This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the sugar coating.

It is suitable for relieving cough and asthma. It is also suitable for treating urticaria and skin itching.

Common adult dosage: 5 mg (1 tablet) orally once, 3 times a day; Maximum dosage: 10 mg (2 tablets) once, 30 mg (3 tablets) a day. Children should take a reduced dosage.

There may be drowsiness and fatigue. There are reports of serious extrapyramidal adverse reactions and convulsions in children due to overdose in domestic applications.
