Function and Efficacy
This product has a wide range of antibacterial effects on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, especially on Streptococcus and Pneumococcus among Gram-positive bacteria, and Gonorrhea, Borrelia, Escherichia coli, Serratia, Klebsiella, Proteus, and Haemophilus influenzae among Gram-negative bacteria. It has stronger antibacterial ability than other oral cephalosporins, and its mode of action is bactericidal. Since this product is extremely stable to β-lactamase produced by various bacteria, it also has excellent antibacterial power against bacteria that produce β-lactamase. The mechanism of action of this product is mainly to prevent the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.

Appearance

Indication
This product is suitable for the following bacterial infectious diseases caused by streptococci (enterococci), pneumococci, gonococci, Branhamella catarrhalis, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Serratia, Proteus and influenza bacilli that are sensitive to cefixime: 1. Bronchitis, bronchiectasis (when infected), secondary infection of chronic respiratory system infections, pneumonia; 2. Pyelonephritis, cystitis, gonococcal urethritis; 3. Cholecystitis, cholangitis; 4. Scarlet fever; 5. Otitis media, sinusitis.
Usage and Dosage
Adults and children weighing more than 30 kg: Oral, 50-100 mg each time, twice a day; for adults with severe infection, the dose can be increased to 200 mg each time, twice a day. Children: Oral, the dosage is halved according to the adult, or the dosage is calculated as 1.5-3.0 mg per kilogram, twice a day
Adverse Reactions
Main symptoms include diarrhea, abnormal stool, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, rash, etc. In a very small number of patients, GPT and GOT are elevated.
Precautions
Patients with a history of allergy to this product or cephalosporin antibiotics are contraindicated
