Compound Ferrous Sulfate Granules

Iron is a component of hemoglobin in red blood cells. When iron is deficient, the amount of hemoglobin synthesized by red blood cells decreases, causing the red blood cells to become smaller and their oxygen-carrying capacity to decrease, resulting in iron-deficiency anemia. Oral administration of this product can supplement iron and correct iron-deficiency anemia; vitamin C can promote iron absorption and participate in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.

Each capsule of this product contains 50 mg of ferrous sulfate (equivalent to 10 mg of iron), 30 mg of vitamin C, and a bag of granular flavoring agent.

The contents of the capsule of this product are off-white or slightly yellow granules or powder; the granular flavoring agent is soluble granules with a sweet taste.

It is used to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia in children, and can also be used for iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women, lactating women and women with heavy menstruation.

Oral administration. Take 1 capsule and 1 bag of granular flavoring agent at a time. Dissolve the granular flavoring agent in 50-100 ml of hot water. Then pour the contents of the capsule into the water, dissolve and take after meals. Once a day.

Nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, and constipation may occur. It can reduce intestinal motility, cause constipation, and discharge black stools.

1. Patients with hemosiderosis and anemia without iron deficiency are prohibited to use this product. 2. Patients with hemophilia are prohibited to use this product. 3. Patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction are prohibited to use this product. 4. Patients with acute or active gastrointestinal ulcers are prohibited to use this product. 5. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited to use this product.

Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: It can be used. Generally, one month's dose of compound ferrous sulfate granules can restore iron to normal values. It is recommended to go to a regular large hospital for perinatal care. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

Taking vitamin C together with ferrous sulfate is beneficial to the absorption of iron. Tetracycline drugs and tannic acid can reduce the absorption of iron. This product can reduce the absorption of levodopa, carbidopa, methyldopa and quinolone drugs. If you are taking other medicines, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
