Progesterone injection
Function and Efficacy
This product is a progestogen drug with the general effects of progesterone. In the late menstrual cycle, it can change the endometrium to the secretory phase, providing favorable conditions for the implantation of the fertilized egg. After the fertilized egg is implanted, the placenta is formed, which can reduce the excitability of the pregnant uterus and enable the fetus to grow safely. When acting together with estrogen, it can promote breast development and prepare for milk production. This product can inhibit the release of luteinizing hormone from the anterior pituitary through negative feedback to the hypothalamus, preventing the follicles from maturing and inhibiting the ovarian ovulation process.
