Ketoprofen gel

This product is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. In addition to inhibiting cyclooxygenase, it also has a certain effect of inhibiting lipoxygenase and reducing bradykinin, thereby alleviating the pain sensation at the site of inflammation and injury.

The main chemical component is ketoprofen: alpha;-methyl-3-benzoylphenylacetic acid.

This product is a transparent colorless or light yellow gel.

It is used for acute and chronic soft tissue (muscle, ligament, fascia) sprains, contusions, and pain caused by muscle strain in various skeletal muscle injuries; it can also be used for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis.

For external use, apply about 1g of the medicine to the painful area at a time, 3 to 4 times a day. Wash the skin first, massage with your hands to make the medicine penetrate into the skin according to the symptoms and the area, and then apply another layer.

This product may occasionally cause scattered rashes at the application site, and systemic side effects may occur when used in large doses.
