Puerarin Eye Drops
Function and Efficacy
Puerarin has a wide and significant b-receptor blocking effect, so it can reduce intraocular pressure. Literature reports that 1% puerarin eye drops have a similar trend of lowering intraocular pressure compared with 0.5% timolol eye drops. It is weaker than timolol eye drops in terms of rapid reduction of intraocular pressure, but better than timolol eye drops in maintaining low intraocular pressure for a longer period of time.

Appearance
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
Indication
Treat primary open-angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension, primary angle-closure glaucoma, and secondary glaucoma.
Usage and Dosage
Adults usually use 1% puerarin eye drops 1-2 drops at a time, drop into the eyelid, close the eyes for 3-5 minutes, 3 times on the first day, and 2 times a day thereafter, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Adverse Reactions
1. Local adverse reactions: Occasionally there is a transient foreign body sensation or irritation. 2. Systemic adverse reactions include: headache, gastrointestinal symptoms, asthma, etc., which are extremely rare.
