Malignant glaucoma
Ciliary block glaucoma is a rare and serious special type of angle-closure glaucoma, which can cause blindness in one or both eyes. Von Graefe first proposed the classic concept of malignant glaucoma, that is, it was first described as a special complication directly secondary to primary angle-closure glaucoma surgery.
