Domperidone Tablets

This product acts directly on the gastrointestinal wall, increasing gastrointestinal motility and tension, promoting gastric emptying, increasing gastric antrum and duodenal motility, coordinating pyloric contraction, and also enhancing esophageal motility and the tension of the lower esophageal sphincter, inhibiting nausea and vomiting. This product is not easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier.

Each tablet of this product contains 10 mg of domperidone. Excipients are: pregelatinized starch, lactose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, povidone, micropowdered silica gel, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate. Chemical name: 5-chloro-1[1-[3-(2-oxy-1-benzimidazolinyl)propyl]-4-piperidinyl]-2-benzimidazolinone.

This product is white tablets.

1. Relieve indigestion symptoms caused by delayed gastric emptying, gastrointestinal reflux, and esophagitis, such as: upper abdominal fullness, bloating, upper abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, and burning sensation in the mouth with or without refluxed gastric contents. 2. Treat nausea and vomiting caused by functional, organic, infectious, dietary, radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

Oral administration: Adults take 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, 15-30 minutes before meals.

1. Occasionally mild abdominal cramps, dry mouth, rash, headache, diarrhea, nervousness, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, etc. 2. Sometimes it causes increased serum prolactin levels, milk secretion, and feminization of male breasts, but it returns to normal after stopping the drug.

It is contraindicated for patients with pheochromocytoma, breast cancer, mechanical intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.

Precautions for children: Due to the incomplete development of the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier in children under 1 year old, the possibility of central nervous system side effects in infants under 1 year old cannot be ruled out. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution in pregnant women. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.

1. It should not be used together with azole antifungal drugs such as ketoconazole and itraconazole, macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin, HIV protease inhibitors and nefazodone. 2. Anticholinergic drugs such as tamoxifen, propantheline bromide, anisodamine, belladonna tablets, etc. will weaken the effect of this product and should not be taken with this product. 3. Antacids and drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion can reduce the bioavailability of this product and should not be taken with this product. 4.
