Piperacillin Sodium
Indication
Piperacillin Sodium for Injection is suitable for sepsis caused by sensitive Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter, upper urinary tract and complicated urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, biliary tract infections, abdominal infections, pelvic infections, and skin and soft tissue infections. Piperacillin combined with aminoglycosides can also be used for infections in immunocompromised patients with neutropenia.
Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to penicillins or a positive penicillin skin test
