Function and Efficacy
This product can increase the amount of intracellular cAMp and enhance myocardial contractility, increase cardiac output and stroke work, but the effect is short-lived and must be administered intravenously. Its positive inotropic effect can still be exerted after administering sufficient doses of cardiac glycosides and will not cause arrhythmias.

Appearance
This product is white freeze-dried loose mass or powder.
Indication
1. The glucagon hydrochloride stimulated c-peptide test is used to evaluate the maximum secretion of pancreatic beta cells in diabetic patients. 2. It is used to treat hypoglycemia in diabetic patients. 3. It is used to temporarily inhibit gastrointestinal motility during gastrointestinal examination.
Usage and Dosage
Intramuscular, subcutaneous or intravenous injection, for hypoglycemia, 0.5-1.0 mg each time, effective in about 5 minutes. If it is still ineffective after 20 minutes, glucose should be used as soon as possible. For cardiogenic shock, continuous intravenous infusion, 1-12 mg per hour.
Adverse Reactions
1. If hypoglycemia is only suspected in critical cases but not confirmed, it cannot be used as a substitute for intravenous glucose injection. 2. After using this product, as soon as the hypoglycemic coma patient regains consciousness, glucose should be given (preferably orally if possible) to prevent relapse into coma. 3. When using this product, be alert to high blood sugar, sometimes hypokalemia can be seen.
Precautions
Patients who are allergic to glucagon hydrochloride or other ingredients in the injection, or those with adrenal tumors, are prohibited from using glucagon hydrochloride.
Drug Interactions
Except for insulin, no interaction with other drugs was found.
