Shock refers to a systemic critical pathological process in which, under the influence of various strong pathogenic factors, the body's circulatory function declines sharply, the microcirculatory perfusion of tissues and organs is seriously insufficient, and the function and metabolism of important vital organs are seriously impaired. It is a common complication in serious diseases in various clinical departments. The common feature of shock is insufficient effective circulation. Although the blood perfusion of tissues and cells is compensated, it is still severely restricted, which causes poor blood perfusion of tissues and organs throughout the body, leading to a series of pathological and physiological changes such as tissue hypoxia, microcirculatory stasis, organ dysfunction and abnormal cell metabolic function. The pathogenesis of shock generally develops from compensatory hypotension (reduced tissue perfusion) to microcirculatory failure, and finally leads to cell membrane damage and cell death.
