Indication
Treat diabetes and wasting diseases.
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous injection: dilute with 25% glucose injection and inject slowly. Intravenous drip: dissolve with 500ml of 5% glucose injection and drip. Intramuscular injection: dissolve with 2ml of sodium chloride injection and inject. 1 vial per day, 2-6 weeks as a course of treatment.
Adverse Reactions
If too much insulin is injected during treatment, it will lead to hypoglycemia. When the poisoning is mild, it mainly affects the autonomic nervous system, which manifests as hunger, dizziness, paleness, weakness and sweating, and may also cause tremors, discomfort in the precordial area, numbness of the face and limbs, and headaches. When blood sugar drops further, it affects the central nervous system, causing dysphonia, diplopia, muscle tremors, ataxia, followed by coma and convulsions of varying degrees. This state is called insulin shock, which can be fatal if not rescued in time.
