Recombinant human growth hormone injection

Indication

Used for slow growth in children caused by endogenous growth hormone deficiency; for the treatment of severe burns; for growth hormone deficiency caused by established hypothalamic-pituitary disease and significant growth hormone deficiency confirmed by two different growth hormone stimulation tests.

Adverse Reactions

Side effects occur early, and the incidence decreases with the duration of medication. They rarely affect daily activities. Long-term injection of recombinant human growth hormone causes antibody production in a small number of patients. The antibody binding capacity is low and has no definite clinical significance. However, if the expected growth effect is not achieved, antibodies may be produced. If the antibody binding capacity exceeds 2mg/L, it may affect the efficacy.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for growth promotion treatment after the epiphysis has completely closed; it is contraindicated for critically ill patients with severe systemic infection during the acute shock period of the body.
