Function and Efficacy

This product is a compound preparation composed of ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate. Ibuprofen is a prostaglandin synthase inhibitor with antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is an adrenergic receptor agonist with selective capillary contraction of the upper respiratory tract, which can eliminate congestion and swelling of the nasopharyngeal mucosa and relieve nasal congestion symptoms; chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that can relieve runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, tearing and other symptoms caused by colds.

Ingredients

This product is a compound preparation, each milliliter contains 20 mg of ibuprofen, 3 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, and 0.2 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate; the excipients are: glycerin, microcrystalline cellulose/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum, sorbitol, polysorbate 80, disodium edetate, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sucralose, allura red pigment, brilliant blue pigment, citric acid, cherry raspberry flavor, and purified water.

Appearance

This product is a translucent dark red suspension with a unique berry aroma.

Indication

Used to treat and relieve symptoms such as fever, headache, sore throat, aching limbs, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and tearing caused by colds or influenza in children.

Usage and Dosage

Oral. The dosage for children under 12 years old is shown in the following table: Age (years) Single dosage (ml) Number of times a day 2~5 years old*43 6~12 years old*83 *For children aged 2~6 years old, please consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this product. The dosage of this product in 24 hours should not exceed 4 times.

Adverse Reactions

There are few adverse reactions, sometimes including mild stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dry mouth, palpitations, dizziness, drowsiness, etc., which may disappear on their own.

Precautions

1. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. 2. It is contraindicated for children under 2 years old. 3. It is contraindicated for patients who are currently taking or have stopped taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors within 14 days. 4. It is contraindicated for patients who are in the active stage or have a history of peptic ulcer/bleeding.

Drug Interactions

1. This product combined with other antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory drugs can increase gastrointestinal adverse reactions and may cause ulcers. If aspirin is used to prevent heart attacks or strokes, patients should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it at the same time, because ibuprofen can reduce the efficacy of aspirin. 2. When this product is used in combination with anticoagulants such as heparin and dicoumarol, it can lead to prolonged prothrombin time and increased bleeding tendency. 3. When this product is used in combination with digoxin, methotrexate, and oral hypoglycemic drugs, it can increase the blood concentration of these drugs and should not be used together. 4. When this product is used in combination with furosemide (furanselmic acid), the latter's sodium excretion and hypotensive effects are weakened. When used in combination with antihypertensive drugs, the hypotensive effect will be reduced. 5. This product should be used with caution when used in combination with selective 5-carboxytryptamine reuptake inhibitor antidepressants such as fluoxetine and paroxetine, because it will increase the possibility of gastrointestinal bleeding. 6. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this product. 7. This product should not be used with alcoholic beverages, barbiturates, antispasmodics, phentolamine, digitalis glycosides and chloramphenicol. 8. If you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before use, because sedatives or tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. 9.
