This product is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial drug with a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, especially high antibacterial activity against aerobic Gram-negative bacteria. It has good antibacterial activity against the following bacteria in vitro: most bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family, including Citrobacter, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacter aerogenes and other Enterobacter species, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio, Yersinia, etc. Norfloxacin also has antibacterial activity against multi-drug resistant bacteria in vitro. It also has good antibacterial effects against penicillin-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae and Moraxella catarrhalis. Norfloxacin is a bactericide that acts on the A subunit of bacterial DNA helicase, inhibits DNA synthesis and replication, and causes bacterial death. This product is an external preparation, a local medication, and only a small amount is absorbed through the skin.

Appearance

This product is a milky yellow ointment with an emulsion base.

Indication

It is used for skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as impetigo, eczema infection, foot wart infection, folliculitis, furunculosis, etc. This product can control the infection of burn granulation wounds and create conditions for skin grafting.

Usage and Dosage

1. For the treatment of bacterial skin infections, apply the medicine to the affected area twice a day. 2. After debridement, for small burns, apply the medicine directly to the wound, or rub norfloxacin cream evenly on sterile gauze, and apply the gauze with the medicine to the wound. The wound can be half-exposed or bandaged.

Adverse Reactions

Patients with allergic constitution may sometimes experience mild itching, a few papules and erythema, and some patients may also experience transient pain when taking the medicine.

Precautions

Patients who are allergic to this product or any other quinolone drugs are contraindicated.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Generally not used for infants and adolescents under 18 years old.
