Appearance

This product is a multi-dose powder inhaler. The contents in the reservoir-type dry powder inhaler are white or off-white particles.

Indication

It can be used to prevent and treat perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, and can also be used for vasomotor rhinitis.

Usage and Dosage

Nasal spray: spray the right nostril with the left hand and the left nostril with the right hand, avoiding spraying directly into the nasal septum. Adults: spray 2 sprays in each nostril at the beginning, once in the morning and once in the evening. The maximum daily dose is no more than 8 sprays (256μg). After the symptoms are relieved, spray once in each nostril once a day, 1 spray each time. Children over 6 years old: same as adults.

Adverse Reactions

Adverse reactions of local irritation occur in approximately 5% of patients. Common (>1/100): Airways: local irritation, mild bloody discharge, epistaxis. Uncommon (1/1000): Systemic: angioedema. Skin: urticaria, rash, dermatitis, pruritus. Airways: nasal septum perforation and mucosal ulceration. Immediate or delayed hypersensitivity reactions, including urticaria, rash, dermatitis, angioedema, and pruritus, have been reported. Very few patients have developed mucosal ulceration and nasal septum perforation after intranasal administration of glucocorticoids. The causes of these adverse reactions (which may be caused by glucocorticoids, these diseases, or other factors) are unknown.

Precautions

It is contraindicated in patients with allergic reactions to budesonide, formoterol, or inhaled lactose.
