Function and Efficacy
This product is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which has a good antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria, and also has a certain antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria. This product has a good antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria except enterococci. For example, penicillinase-producing and non-penicillinase-producing Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, pneumococcus, group A hemolytic streptococci, Escherichia coli, and Proteus mirabilis are sensitive to this product; this product also has antibacterial effects on Salmonella, Shigella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococci, Enterococci, indole-positive Proteus, Enterobacter, Serratia, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are resistant to this product. Its mechanism of action is to bind to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) on the bacterial cell membrane, acylate the transpeptidase, inhibit the synthesis of the bacterial septum and cell wall, affect the cross-linking of the cell wall mucopeptide components, inhibit cell division and growth, elongate the bacterial morphology, and finally dissolve and die.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is cefadroxil, and its chemical name is (6R,7R)-3-methyl-7-[(R)-2-amino-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetylamino]-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid monohydrate.

Indication
It is mainly used for infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, reproductive and urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, digestive tract, etc. caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, etc.
Usage and Dosage
It can be taken directly orally or dissolved in warm water below 40℃. Adults: 1-2g per day, divided into 2-3 doses; children: 30mg per kilogram of body weight per day, divided into 2 doses. Or follow the doctor's advice.
Adverse Reactions
The adverse reactions of this product are few and mild, with a total incidence of about 4%, mainly gastrointestinal reactions. Nausea, loss of appetite, rash, etc. are rare.
