Function and Efficacy
This product is a tricyclic antidepressant, and its main function is to block the reuptake of norepinephrine and 5-hydroxytryptamine by the central nervous system, thereby increasing the concentration of these two neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft and exerting an antidepressant effect. This product also has anticholinergic, anti-α1 adrenergic receptor and anti-H1 histamine receptor effects, but has little effect on dopamine receptors.

Appearance
This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the sugar coating.
Indication
It is used for various depressions. Because of its stimulating effect, it is suitable for slow depression, but not for agitated depression or anxious depression. It can also be used for enuresis in children.
Usage and Dosage
Common oral dosage: Start with 25~50mg, twice a day, in the morning and at noon. Taking the medicine at night can easily cause insomnia, so it is not suitable to use it at night. Then gradually increase to a total daily amount of 100~250mg. High dose: no more than 300mg a day. Maintenance dose is 50~150mg a day. For children with enuresis, take 25~50mg once a day, 1 hour before bedtime.
Adverse Reactions
Insomnia and anticholinergic reactions may occur in the early stage of treatment, such as hyperhidrosis, dry mouth, tremor, dizziness, tachycardia, blurred vision, dysuria, constipation or paralytic ileus. Large doses may cause heart block, arrhythmia, anxiety, etc. Other symptoms include rash and postural hypotension. Occasionally, epileptic seizures and bone marrow suppression or toxic liver damage may occur.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with severe heart disease, glaucoma, dysuria, bronchial asthma, epilepsy, hyperthyroidism, delirium, granulocytopenia, liver damage, and those who are allergic to tricyclic drugs.
Drug Interactions
1. When this product is used in combination with ethanol, it can enhance the inhibitory effect of the central nervous system. 2. When this product is used in combination with anticonvulsants, it can reduce the effect of anticonvulsants. 3. When this product is used in combination with antihistamines or anticholinergics, the efficacy of the drugs is mutually enhanced. 4. When this product is used in combination with estrogen or contraceptives containing estrogen, it can increase the adverse reactions of this product. 5. When this product is used in combination with adrenergic receptor agonists, it can cause severe hypertension and high fever. 6. When this product is used in combination with thyroid preparations, they can enhance each other's effects and cause arrhythmias. 7. When used in combination with monoamine oxidase, there is a risk of hypertension.
