Sodium Cantharidate Injection

Function and Efficacy

1. Pharmacological experiments show that sodium cantharidinate can directly enter the nucleus and nucleolus of mouse ascites liver cancer cells. It inhibits the content of DNA and RNA in cancer cells and the infiltration of precursors, proving that it acts on the nucleic acid metabolism of cancer cells, which in turn changes the morphology and function of cancer cells and kills cancer cells. This product can reduce the activity of CANP phosphodiesterase in tumor cells and increase the activity of catalase. This product can also stimulate the bone marrow hematopoietic system and increase white blood cells. 2. Toxicology The results of acute toxicity, hemolysis and irritation tests of this product are: the D50 of intravenous injection of mice is 4.16 mg/kg. The D50 of intraperitoneal injection of mice is 4.39 mg/kg. There is no in vitro hemolysis reaction. It is mildly irritating to rabbit eyes. It has no irritating effect on rabbit and mouse muscles.
