Triamcinolone acetonide

The main component of this product is triamcinolone acetonide acetate. Its chemical name is: 16α, 17-[(methylethylidene)bis(oxy)]-11β,,21-dihydroxy-9-fluoropregnane-1,4-diene-3,20-dione-21-acetate.

It is suitable for various skin diseases (such as neurodermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.), joint pain, bronchial asthma, periarthritis of shoulder, tenosynovitis, acute sprain, chronic low back pain and eye inflammation, etc. It is similar to triamcinolone, but is more used for skin diseases and asthma.

In clinical studies, as with other nasal inhalers, local adverse reactions associated with this product include occasional dryness or burning sensation in the nose or throat, sneezing or mild nose bleeding, headache, etc., but generally, there is no need to stop taking the drug. As the body adapts to this product, the above symptoms will disappear. As with other nasal sprays, nasal discharge may be yellow or green, with a strange smell, and there may be more severe stinging or nose bleeding in the nose or throat. Please consult a doctor. There have been reports of patients experiencing nasal septum perforation and increased intraocular pressure after nasal administration of corticosteroids, but this is extremely rare and usually occurs in patients who have undergone nasal surgery.
