Nicergoline Capsules

Pharmacological action: This product is an alpha adrenal blocking vasodilator. Its effects are as follows: 1. Increase the blood flow of cerebral arteries (especially in ischemic areas) by inhibiting the tension of vasoconstrictive sympathetic nerves. 2. Increase the utilization rate of glucose and oxygen by brain cells. 3. Has a calcium antagonist effect. 4. Has an activating effect on dopamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine receptors. 5. Has antihypertensive and antiplatelet aggregation effects.

The main ingredient of this product is nicergoline. Chemical name: 8β-(5-bromonicotinoylmethoxy)-1,6-dimethyl-10α-methoxyergoline.

This product is a khaki capsule, and the contents are white to off-white spherical pellets.

1. Used as an adjuvant treatment for intermittent claudication caused by chronic occlusive arterial disease of the lower limbs (Phase II) (Note: This indication is based on the research results that nicergoline can improve the walking distance of patients). 2. Used to improve the symptoms of pathological intellectual impairment (memory and attention impairment, etc.) in some elderly people. 3. Used for elderly people with dizziness.

1. Arterial disease: one 30mg capsule per day, in the morning. 2. Elderly people with intellectual decline and dizziness: one 30mg capsule every morning. 3. Or as directed by your doctor.

The following symptoms may be observed: 1. Mild stomach pain. 2. Sudden orthostatic vasodilatory fever or dizziness.

Patients who are allergic to nicergoline or any of the excipients in this product are contraindicated. Patients with recent myocardial infarction, acute bleeding, severe bradycardia, orthostatic regulation dysfunction or bleeding tendency are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: This product is not for children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: The safety of pregnant and lactating women has not been established, so it is recommended not to use this product during pregnancy or pregnancy. Precautions for the elderly: Pharmacokinetic and tolerability studies have shown that there is no difference in dosage and administration method between adults and elderly patients.
