This product belongs to Class 1 antiarrhythmic drugs, and there are different opinions on its specific classification. It can inhibit fast Na influx, has a membrane stabilizing effect, shortens the 2nd and 3rd phase repolarization and action potential time, and shortens the effective refractory period. It has little effect on the autonomy of the sinoatrial node, but can prolong the conduction of the atrioventricular and His-Purkinje systems. This product has a mild hemodynamic effect and can aggravate heart failure in patients with severe organic heart disease.

Appearance
This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the sugar coating.
Indication
Oral administration is mainly suitable for ventricular arrhythmias, including ventricular premature beats and ventricular tachycardia.
Usage and Dosage
The dosage should be individualized. Before using this product, other antiarrhythmic drugs should be discontinued for 1 to 2 half-lives. Oral administration: The usual adult dosage is 150 to 300 mg, once every 8 hours, and the maximum dosage is 900 mg per day.
Adverse Reactions
Symptoms include dizziness, nausea, headache, fatigue, drowsiness, abdominal pain, indigestion, vomiting, sweating, paresthesia, dry mouth, diplopia, etc. The incidence of arrhythmogenic effects is about 3.7%.
Precautions
1. Patients with II or III degree atrioventricular block and bifascicular block without pacemaker should not use this drug. 2. Patients with cardiogenic shock and allergies should not use this drug.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: There are no reports on the use of this drug in children under 18 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: The safety of this product for pregnant women and fetuses is unknown. It can be excreted through breast milk. Precautions for the elderly: Many elderly people stop taking the drug due to adverse reactions other than cardiac reactions.
Drug Interactions
1. Cimetidine can increase the blood concentration of this product by 1.4 times. When used at the same time, the dose of this product should be reduced. 2. This product can increase the clearance of theophylline drugs and shorten their half-life. 3. When used together with warfarin, it can change the effect of the latter on prothrombin time. Patients who are stable on warfarin should be monitored when starting or stopping this product.
