Appearance

This product is white crystal or crystalline powder

Indication

It is used for patients with various hepatic comas and sodium contraindications, and is also suitable for mental symptoms caused by high blood ammonia due to other reasons.

Usage and Dosage

Intravenous drip. 15-20g at a time. Dissolve it fully in 1000ml of 5% glucose injection solution before use. Complete the drip within 4 hours or follow the doctor's advice.

Adverse Reactions

1. It can cause hyperchloremic acidosis and increase the concentration of urea, creatine and creatinine in the blood. 2. A small number of patients may have allergic reactions. 3. Too fast intravenous drip can cause salivation, facial flushing and vomiting. 4. It has been reported that patients with poor liver and kidney function or diabetes may develop hyperkalemia when using this product. 5. Intravenous drip of this product can cause limb numbness and headache, nausea, vomiting and local phlebitis. Intravenous administration of large doses of arginine can dilate peripheral blood vessels and cause hypotension.

Precautions

1. Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients with hyperchloremic acidosis, renal insufficiency and anuria are prohibited from using this product. 3. Patients with fulminant hepatic failure should not use this product due to the lack of arginase in the body.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: There is no research data or reports on the use of this product in the treatment of hepatic coma in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: It is not clear. It is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women. Precautions for the elderly: There is no research data on the use of this product in elderly patients. Drug Interactions

1. This product can be used in combination with sodium glutamate and potassium glutamate to increase the efficacy. 2. This product can cause hyperkalemia when used in combination with spironolactone, especially in patients with severe liver disease. 3. This product is forbidden to be used in combination with cardiac glycosides. 4. It can be used in combination with glutamic acid to rescue patients with hepatic coma and calcium deficiency.

Storage

Store in a sealed container. The validity period is tentatively set at one year.
