Rifampicin and Isoniazid Capsules

Main ingredients: Each tablet contains 120 mg of rifampicin, 80 mg of isoniazid and 250 mg of pyrazinamide.

Short-course chemotherapy for tuberculosis.

5 tablets per day for those weighing 50kg or more. 4 tablets per day for those weighing 40-49kg. 3 tablets per day for those weighing 30-39kg. Take for two consecutive months.

1. Allergic reaction. 2. Gastrointestinal reaction. 3. Damage to liver and kidney function. 4. Thrombocytopenia and leukocytopenia, anemia, eosinophilia. 5. Flu-like syndrome. 6. Menstrual irregularity. 7. Red urine, sputum and tears. 8. Polyneuritis, high doses can cause convulsions and increase the number of epileptic seizures. 9. Active gout.

Rifampicin can reduce the efficacy of anticoagulants, adrenocortical hormones, cyclosporine, digitalis preparations, quinidine, oral contraceptives, oral hypoglycemic drugs, dapsone, anesthetics and analgesics, barbiturates, diazepam, verapamil, beta-adrenergic blockers, clofibrate, progestins, disopyramide, theophylline, chloramphenicol, ketoconazole and anticonvulsants. Concomitant use with chloramphenicol can increase liver toxicity. Isoniazid can enhance the effect of phenytoin sodium.
