Sertrolast Granules

This product is a thromboxane A2 receptor antagonist, which can inhibit the bronchoconstriction reaction caused by various chemical transmitters (thromboxane A2, leukotriene D4, platelet activating factor), inhibit the immediate and delayed allergic reactions induced by antigen inhalation, and improve lung function.

This product is yellow granules.

Used for the treatment of mild to moderate bronchial asthma.

Oral administration: Adults take 1 pack (80 mg) once a day, or as directed by a doctor. This product should be taken after dinner.

Very few patients (less than 0.1%) occasionally experience liver dysfunction accompanied by jaundice, elevated ALT and AST, and there are also reports of acute hepatitis patients, all of which should be treated by discontinuation of the drug. A small number of patients (within 0.1-5%) may experience: 1. Allergic symptoms, such as rash and itching, which can be treated by discontinuation of the drug; 2. Digestive system, such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, thirst; 3. Blood system: epistaxis, subcutaneous hemorrhage, anemia, eosinophilia; 4. Mental system: drowsiness, headache, dizziness, etc.; 5. Others: fatigue, edema, palpitations.

It is contraindicated for people who are allergic to this product. It is contraindicated for pregnant women.

Precautions for children: There is no data to prove the safety of this product for children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: It is forbidden for pregnant women.

In vitro studies on human plasma protein binding interactions found that the free concentration of this product increased by 26% after the addition of aspirin.
