Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip. The infusion rate for children is 50-100 ml per hour, and the infusion rate for newborns and premature infants should not exceed 100 ml per hour. It should be adjusted according to the patient's age, symptoms and weight.
Adverse Reactions
1. Large-volume, rapid intravenous infusion: Large-volume, rapid administration may cause cerebral edema, pulmonary edema, acromal edema, acidosis, water retention, acute left heart failure, hemolysis, etc. 2. Rapid intravenous infusion: Rapid intravenous infusion (more than 100 mL per hour) for newborns and premature infants may cause water retention. 3. Children with diabetic ketoacidosis may develop iatrogenic hyperosmotic non-ketotic coma due to excessive infusion of glucose saline during treatment. 4. Electrolyte imbalance: Long-term simple supplementation is prone to hypokalemia and hypophosphatemia. 5. Reactive hypoglycemia: It is easy to occur when combined with excessive use of insulin, the original tendency to hypoglycemia, and the sudden cessation of total intravenous nutrition therapy. Once an adverse reaction occurs, the administration should be stopped and appropriate treatment should be given.
Precautions
1. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes and ketoacidosis; 2. Hyperglycemia and hyperosmolar state.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: The amount and speed of fluid replacement should be strictly controlled. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: No special precautions. Precautions for the elderly: The amount and speed of fluid replacement should be strictly controlled.
Drug Interactions
The use of glucocorticoids can easily induce hyperglycemia.
Storage
Keep tightly closed.
